Jody is always upbeat, smiling, happy to see me, answers all questions, is helpful and shows concern in my journey, and lets me know the side effects of meds and the best ways to take them. I like that she's also concerned about meds that will up my heart rate and finds me the safest options possible that will help with sugar cravings and promote weight loss.

I consider myself an informed person. Jody brought some of my issues to light that I have never once considered. Since she did that, my overall well-being has been better. My binge eating has stopped. I have been losing weight and my ultimate goal to just be generally more active with my family has been incredible. I am incredibly grateful she ripped the bandaid off and had the difficult convo (it was a mental health issue rather than a physical health issue). And I appreciate that I can be brutally honest and she takes it all in stride.

I've had some health concerns this spring and then a torn meniscus. Jodi recommended seeing a PT for suggestions on getting around and some activity until I can have my knee surgery. She was so positive and encouraging that I'm determined to not totally go off the wagon in my weight loss journey.

Jody is the epitome of an excellent provider. She is engaged from the time she enters the room to when she leaves. She asks lots of questions and also truly listens to the answers. With me, she jumps on board w/any medication concern & offers alternates or a complete resolution. I've never questioned that she wants me 100% successful in my weight loss goals/efforts - she supports me as a true team player always & I appreciate having her lead my team.

She is a great doctor and has a totally knowledge about my situation. I've never felt so seen or heard by a provider. Seriously, top notch care at IWLS. The staff is why I feel comfortable here and *never* judged. This Includes the ladies at the front desk, the nurses, the dietitians, and of course the PA/Doctors.
