In this time of social distancing, with gym and fitness studio closures and home confinement, your exercise routine might be disrupted or completely non-existent. Or maybe you are ready to start exercising, but you don’t know where to begin.

And you don’t need a lot of equipment to participate.You can join live stream workouts through YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram TV and more and access recorded fitness classes on demand via several websites. From yoga and Pilates to HIIT and strength training classes and routines, you can get a great workout from the comfort of your own home, for free! Many of these classes have modifications for different fitness levels.

Everyone benefits from exercise, both physically and mentally. Whether your goal is weight loss or weight maintenance, now is a great time to build exercise into your routine. Start small, make a plan and stick to it. Find something that is safe for your fitness and comfort level. Access a few classes, try something new and get comfortable moving.
