Clinic Leader- Elsey Strube

Elsey Strube is the clinic leader for Iowa Weight Loss Specialist. She has been working with Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics for over eight years. She transitioned into her leadership position from being a dietitian in patient care in November of 2020. Elsey oversees the day-to-day operations of our outpatient clinics. With our continued growth, every day is different and brings new challenges.

What drew her most to Iowa Weight Loss Specialist when she was interviewed as a dietitian back in 2016 was the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. She is grateful that she can continue to work with the team in a leadership capacity.

When she is not working, Elsey is busy with her husband and their two daughters (3.5 years and 3 months). They definitely keep the two on their toes! Being a working mom is challenging, but Elsey appreciates the support she has from her family and our hospital/team, to be able to do both!
