The winter months can prove to be dangerous with severe weather conditions, ice and blizzards. If you can’t make it to the gym because of bad weather, get creative and try these indoor home fitness tips!

1. Leg lifts. Sit in a chair and enjoy catching up with your family while you do some leg lifts. Make sure you have space to lift your legs straight (from the knee out). Do a few reps and then take a rest. You’ll be amazed at how many you can do in a
15 minute conversation.

2. Stair climbs. Who needs a stair master when you’ve got stairs in your house! Walk up and down your stairs a few reps, do a few reps of squats and finish with a few more reps of stairs!

3. Clean your house. Any movement is great, so get out the vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and window cleaner and start cleaning. As long as you’re moving, you’re burning calories. Plus, your house will be spotless!
