What made you decide to come to our medical weight loss program?  I wanted to run with my kids. 

How long did it take for you to decide that weight loss surgery was for you?  The length of the initial class. 

Did anyone either encourage or discourage you from coming in?  Both, most people were encouraging but there was the occasional naysayer

What do you wish you'd known before the surgery? Iowa Weight Loss did a wonderful job of preparing me for the procedure, so I didn’t really have to many surprises. 

What things are you able to do now that may have been difficult or impossible before weight loss?  Run 14 miles! Ride amusement park rides! Tie my shoes without getting lightheaded! 

Which conditions or diseases have you seen decrease or disappear since your weight loss?  I used to suffer from multiple migraines a week but since surgery I haven’t had a single migraine. 

How has weight loss altered your outlook on life, your emotions, and/or relationships?  I haven’t felt this good since my early twenties. I feel less stressed out and my relationship with my wife and kids is possibly the best it’s ever been. 

Why did you decide to have surgery with Dr. Eibes? He came highly recommended by a friend of ours, and he and his staff were just always so awesome. 

What would you say about your provider and their team?  Amazing!  My wife and I just love going in to the office and seeing everyone. They are always so friendly. 

What would you tell someone who is considering weight loss surgery? Do it!  It was one of the best decision’s that I’ve ever made! 

Is there any additional information you would like to share?  This whole experience has been awesome. I walked into that first class with my wife thinking that it was a waste of our time, and left with an initial consultation appointment and a willingness to try and get healthier. Little did I know how life changing this experience would be!
