What made you decide to have weight loss surgery?  To become healthier - not just for me, but for my son too.  I also wanted a better chance to conceive a baby without fertility drugs.

How long did it take for you to decide to have weight loss surgery?  Not long.  Once I learned about it, I was all in.

Did anyone either encourage or discourage you from having surgery?  Everyone was supportive.

What do you wish you'd know before the surgery?  Nothing.  I asked the questions and learned everything that I wanted to know.

What kind of things are you able to do now that may have been difficult or impossible to do before surgery?  I have more energy to get up and do things with my son.

Which conditions or diseases have you seen decrease or disappear since your surgery?  I have PCOS and it has helped with that.  Also I have a little growth that has shrunk.

Besides the external changes you have experienced, how has surgery altered your outlook on life, your emotions, and/or your relationships?  It amazes me how much more confident I am with myself.  It hasn't just changed my life, it changed my son's life in such a good way.  People complement me and I feel they look at me really different.  It has made such a great impact in my life and I don't regret any of it.  I'm 100% happy.

Why did you decide to have surgery with Dr. Eibes?  I was recommended to him.

What would you say about Dr. Eibes and his team?  They are absolutely amazing, and I'm so glad I was able to have the opportunity to be a part.

What would you tell someone who is considering weight loss surgery?  If you're doubting yourself - don't!  Because life is short.  This surgery has changed my life it can do the same for you.

Any additional information you would like to share?  At the beginning I was so nervous if this surgery would work.  I had my doubts, but now after a year, I know it was the right decision.  Thank you to everyone.  It has truly made a huge change for my son and myself.  I couldn't be more happy.
